Kevin Mackay manages the development of DF Concerts & Events’ environmental sustainability programme, driving measurable progress across climate action, circular systems, and audience engagement.

Inspired by a key role working on The People’s Summit during COP26, in 2022 Kevin transitioned from venue operations, touring, and technical production to focus fully on sustainable event management. Since then, DF has embedded sustainability into its event operations, prioritising core metrics such as energy efficiency, waste reduction, and positive behaviour change.

This year, the company is working with Hope Solutions – the team behind Coldplay’s sustainability strategy – to produce a Carbon Reduction Roadmap, charting a clear pathway to reduce emissions and deliver live events that contribute to a more sustainable future.
